Why Choose Morgan Crossing Sports Medicine Clinic?

At Morgan Crossing Sports Medicine Clinic we pride ourselves on getting you back to an active lifestyle as soon as possible. For Physiotherapy, most clinics will take in a new patient every 15 minutes. You often get left alone hooked up to a machine or wondering and waiting what to do next while your therapist juggles 2-3 other clients. With us, you get the full attention of the therapist for a minimum of 30 min giving you twice the normal attention and a more rapid return to activity.

We also beleive in a multi-disciplinary approach meaning that you may be seen by more than one therapist to accelerate your recovery.  For example, you may be encouraged to get a massage prior to your physiotherapy or chiropractic visit to facilitate your recovery.

We are also conveniently located next to Steve Nash Sports Club and close to other shops in Morgan Crossing so you can take care of other things before or after your appointment. There is also free parking! Some of the other shops include Golf Town, London Drugs, Thrifty Foods, Winners, The Gap, Banana Republic, Everything Wine, Royal Bank, Bank of Montreal, Vancity Credit Union and many more.

Is Athletic Therapy, Physiotherapy, Massage, or Chiropractic Covered Under My Extended Health Plan?

Many companies cover Athletic Therapy, Physiotherapy, Massage, and Chiropractic treatments. However, it depends on your specific plan. Please check with your Human Resources Department. You can also request for it to be added to your plan. Contact us for request forms.

How is Athletic Therapy Different From Physiotherapy?

Certified Athletic Therapists specialize in orthopedic assessment and rehabilitation of musculoskeletal injuries as well as sport specific conditioning. Athletic Therapy is based on the sports medicine model of rehabilitation and does not involve the study of neurological, respiratory, or cardiovascular rehabilitation.

Why is Athletic Therapy and Physiotherapy a Good Option for Me?

Athletic Therapists and Physiotherapists don’t just treat athletes. They treat all active individuals. Whether you play organized sports, enjoy gardening, walking, jogging, and going to the gym, we work with you to ensure a rapid return to work or play.

Do I need a Doctor's referral?

No.  Our clinic does not require a referral from a doctor to see our therapists.  However, some extended healthcare companies may require a referral from a Doctor for them to cover the cost of therapy.  Please check your individual plan.
