Stephanie is a Canadian Academy of Manipulative Physiotherapy Certified Physiotherapist which involves years of additional training and education in hands-on, researched based techniques. She obtained her Bachelor’s of Human Kinetics and her Master’s of Physical Therapy from the University of British Columbia. She also holds her Acupuncture Certification through the Acupuncture Foundation of Canada Institute and integrates it into her rehabilitation programs.
During her time at UBC she played for and captained the UBC Varsity Women’s Soccer Team which included a CIS National Championship in 2006. Stephanie has experience with orthopedics as well as a return to work programs. She has a very strong exercise background with experience as a personal trainer working with a large variety of clientele out of a fitness center in Richmond. Stephanie continues to add to her knowledge base by attending seminars and courses such as advances in clinical sports medicine, advanced shoulder rehabilitation, hip and knee rehab, acupuncture, and K-Taping.
She continues to stay active by playing soccer, skiing and going to the gym.
